The Farm Country Cheese Shop started production in July of 1984. Since the beginning, the Amish communities in the region have supplied the milk and most of the labor required to make this delicious cheese.
The cheese factory gets milk from more than 90 small farms nearby. These farms average 6 - 15 cows each. The cows are milked by hand twice per day.
