Ron and Pat Cutler have created one of the most comfortable Bed and Breakfasts anywhere, particularly for men.  I like romance and beautiful surroundings as much as the next person but I really like this place.  The decor is nautical in keeping with Captain Ron's fishing expertise and Lake Huron just a short walk away and they have preserved the oak woodwork and the pine floors.  For history buffs, pay attention to that stair way.

Comfortable is going to keep coming up when you spend time here.  Both Ron and Pat take an interest in everything going on in the Lexington area and can offer all kinds of local advice.  They are involved with everything going on and will help you enjoy your stay in town.

You can get full details about this B&B on their web site www.cqilex.com but I must point out a couple things you need to be ready for.

First, you are going to sleep like a baby, it is quiet here and the next time we have to buy a mattress, I am getting what this place has. I was out like a light.

Second, you will need the rest because there is so much to see and do in Lexington that you will be worn out.  Don't worry about nourishment though, if Captain Ron makes his breakfast specialty you will be ready for the day.  I can still taste that sausage and for you sticky bun fans wait till he bakes up those pecan sweet rolls.

For those hot summer days, the Captain's Quarters Inn is equipped with central air conditioning.
