Many
things must come together to make a trip, long or short, memorable
enough to look back on and to tell others about. Sometimes you get
very lucky and find a place that has it all together. You enjoy
yourself while you are there. You are pampered without being
smothered and when you leave you feel not just refreshed but like you
have stepped out of the day to day and into a charmed and romantic world
all its own.
The Abbey Lynn Inn in Ludington is just such a place.
Besides the common areas there are just 5 sleeping rooms. Each is beautifully appointed and has a private bath. The one room downstairs also has a fireplace. I slept like a rock in a room that could have been sound-proofed, on a bed that was as comfy as my own.
Breakfast was another delight. All of the essentials were included but the great part is that Judy Trim is a very talented cook. I will stay in this inn again just for the breakfast, I need synonyms for delicious.
