Red Mesa Grill - Boyne City, Michigan

The Red Mesa logoI can't remember ever going to the same Mexican restaurant two nights in a row, until now.  The first night I had their roasted tomato soup and bean cakes.  I have never tasted any better.  We were so tired that night that we didn't feel like we did the menu justice.

The next night we went back after checking the menus of several other places.  They looked good but back to the Red Mesa we went.  This time I had the special, a fish taco, and it was incredible.

This is the best Mexican/Latin eatery in Michigan and I have been to lots of them.  They also make fantastic Margueritas and Mojitos.  I can't wait to get back to work my way through the menu.  Honestly, this place is just in a class all by itself.

Travel in Michigan will take you to nearly endless destinations.  As you enjoy the sights and attractions, a little snack or a full meal will eventually become a necessity.  In this section, and by region, I will let you in on some of the best places for some of my favorites.
