Michigan attractions and Terrific Towns

I had heard about this place for years but had not been able to get there for dinner. Kinde, Michigan is near the tip of the "thumb" (Kinde map link) and I just couldn't get there.
Then I was in the area and it was lunch time. I had to drive about 45 minutes but it was worth every bit of it. I wanted to find out if the stories were true so I ordered Fettucini Alfredo. This is a dish that is difficult to trick out and it can be very good or just mediocre. It was simply the best I have ever had. It was so delicious I can't wait to get back there.
Notes, be careful of the portion you order. I ordered a half order and it was so huge that I was stuffed. It was so delicious that I was mopping the sauce with bread and gorging myself. I can't imagine trying a full portion.
The decor is 50's and very cool. All in all a great place. The folks who own this have actually lead the way in revitalizing this entire town. Maybe the governor should check it out for a few tips.
Travel in Michigan will take you to nearly endless destinations. As you enjoy the sights and attractions, a little snack or a full meal will eventually become a necessity. In this section, and by region, I will let you in on some of the best places for some of my favorites.
The food destinations in this section are pretty much my favorites in every category.
