For nearly two decades the Quiet Water Symposium has celebrated non-motorized outdoor recreation and a shared concern for our Great Lakes environment. Last year nearly 2000 persons attended this annual event. This year’s program will feature seminars by noted outdoor authors Kevin Callan, Cliff Jacobson and Doc Fletcher. In addition to these seminars will be interactive displays manned by knowledgeable enthusiasts and experts on topics such as wooden boat building, camp cooking, cycling, kayaking and protecting our watersheds and environment. The exhibition hall will hold many vendors and outfitters all available to help you chose the right gear, adventure location or classes with which to get the proper start.

 

Program will include entertaining presentations on outdoor activities such as canoeing, camping, hiking and general outdoor skills by noted authors including, Kevin Callan, Cliff Jacobson and the McGuffin’s. Along with these seminars will be interactive displays manned by knowledgeable enthusiasts and experts on topics such as wooden boat building, camp cooking, cycling, kayaking and protecting our watersheds and environment. In addition to displays, many vendors will be available to help you chose the right gear or classes with which to get the proper start.
