The Michigan Fiber Festival, promotes the interests of individuals and businesses related to natural fibers. This is one of the Midwest's largest Fiber Festivals, held in beautiful Western Michigan at the Allegan County Fairgrounds! The festival showcases fibers and fiber artisans through work shops and exhibits. Spend the weekend camping right on the festival grounds to enjoy a complete festival experience.

Some of the highlights will include animal exhibits and competitions, a fiber art show, tractor displays, herding dog and sheep-shearing demonstrations, and children's activities. Llamas have been a regular attraction along with the sheep and goats. The festival’s mission is to promote the interest in natural fibers to the public, as well as to increase its development and knowledge among those who grow fiber on the hoof .
Friday, admission is usually free but only about two-thirds of the vendors will be set up and no demonstrations — such as sheep shearing and dog herding — will be going on.
