The 5th Annual Kalkaska Street Festival is set to be another successful 3-day summer event at Railroad Square in Downtown Kalkaska. The festivities begin with a Free Family Picnic & Community Concert at 6:00 PM on Friday, August 12th, 2016. The Kalkaska DDA, in partnership with the Kalkaska Kiwanis & O.D. Productions, will be hosting a Free Picnic and great music by Aric Timm, Carpet Bombers, Midwest Skies, and Scarkazm for everyone in attendance. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy a night of great food and great music. Beverage Tent will be available to purchase additional beverages.
Street Fest Weekend continues on Saturday, August 13th from Noon – 5:00 PM, with entertainment, bounce houses, obstacle course, dunk tank, street vendors, and much more for the entire family. Food and ice cream vendors will be available to purchase refreshments. Beverage Tent will be available to purchase additional beverages.
We close out the festival with The Kiwanis Annual Steak & Corn Family Picnic on Sunday, August 14th from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM. This annual fundraising event is moving to Railroad Square for the first time. For just $8/plate, you will feast on Grilled Steak, boiled corn on the cob, coleslaw, dinner roll, assorted cookies, ice tea, lemonade and water. Come Out and enjoy an amazing meal, visit with friends and support this wonderful organization.
