Rainbow's End Alpacas - Norway, Michigan

Michigan Getaway in Norway, Michigan - www.rainbowsendalpacas.net

Welcome to Rainbow's End Alpacas and Rainbow Gifts & Yarn! We are nestled in the beautiful countryside of the U.P. of Michigan. Soft rolling hills, beautiful lakes and streams are all around us. Four seasons of colors grace our land year round. It is commonly known as "God's Country." Owners of Rainbow's End Alpacas, Dave and Mary Lynn Verley, first discovered these gentle animals one summer day at the county fair with the big, beautiful brown eyes and gave birth to the dream of one day owning such an animal. The Verley’s have now been in the industry for 9 years and have loved every minute of it. They began their dream with 5 animals in 2005 and currently own 27.

Those who come to the Rainbow will leave with an understanding and appreciation of the whole alpaca farming process. Dave and Mary Lynn Verley want to give people a connection between the farm and the wonderful products they carry in their year round store. It truly is a place “where shopping becomes an experience!” The alpaca farm, and the gift shop are all at the same location, at W6139 U.S. 2 near the viaduct on the west end of town.

Visitors can come and feed the animals anytime during store hours from the beautiful deck of their store that overlooks the pastures. For a minimal fee special group tours (with a minimum of 10 people) can also be scheduled. Mary Lynn will walk you through the fascinating life of an alpaca where you will discover why these are a very special animal.

DIRECTIONS: Rainbow's End Alpacas is located on the south side of US-2, just before the viaduct on the west side of the city of Norway. Look for the sign at the top of the hill. W6139 US 2, Norway, MI 49870
